Free Tibet Please?

I need to research the Chinese-Tibetan conflict. I realized that I am not informed about the crisis that's going on in Tibet after reading this BBC article. I have learned about fractions of the complex situation from news reports and ethics classes in high school - and most of it is making China look bad. Something tells me that this is a problem similar to the one in Darfur, but there's no George Clooney here to save the Tibetans. I am going to do my best to find the answers. This kind of news upsets me.
